Musing Monday's - January 3rd

2

How many books did you read in 2010? If you had a reading goal, did you meet it? What books are you most looking forward to reading for 2011 (either new, OR ones that have sat on your shelves for a while)?
I managed to reach my goal of 40 books at the end of 2010, even though I started the 50 book challenge sometime in June. I had to make a realistic goal and I stuck with it. For that, I am exceptionally proud of myself. Considering in 2009 I read 25 books and in 2008 I read 1 [I know right, scary.]
This year I am most looking forward to reading the remaining books of the 'Blue Bloods and The Vampire Academy Series' As well as a large number of Chick-Lit books and Fantasy books that have been sitting on my shelf for over two years.
As for new books; I have already brought two books of Ebay – See Jane Write- A Girls Guide to Writing Chick-Lit and & The Spellmen Files by Lisa Lutz. I also have a collection of books on lay-by as a reward at the end of the month if I reach my reading goals. I think it will help me to reach my goal and save me money so I am not always spending hundreds of dollars each month on books.
